Originated through its comprehensive network of financial advisors, branches, and offices located throughout the Americas, UBS Wealth Management Americas offers a wide range of credit products to high net worth clients and investment companies.

The CRC WM Americas Request team is responsible for all credit decisions relating to Non-Purpose, Purpose, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Over the Counter, Futures, Repo, Reverse Repo, TBA, and Letters of Credit requests that exceed the credit authorities of our origination/product teams. Three sub-teams exist, CRC-NJ and CRC-AG (NY Branch) and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Make credit decisions or credit recommendations on large and/or structured lending transactions,
margin/purpose loans, traded products, and on letter of credits
• Monitor key clients on an on-going basis
• Interact with our lending product specialists and with representatives our branch network
• Perform reviews on existing credit clients
• Participate in ad-hoc credit risk control projects

Basic Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience in lending against marketable securities either in a control function or in
a business/structuring function
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly identify key risk issues in complex situations and able to
formulate precise credit assessments and credit decisions, both in writing and verbally
• Sound knowledge of the securities industry and of the various types of marketable securities and their
inherent market risks (including a sound knowledge of the most common SEC selling restrictions on
securities)
• Basic skills in financial statement analysis
• Strong understanding of Private Wealth and Institutional counterparties
• Good communication skills
• Ability to focus and prioritize and to perform accurately in a fast paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related areas required
