To assist in the buy-side research function by assuming responsibility for key sectors in the MENA region.

We are a regional investment and advisory firm made up of four strategic business divisions covering investment banking, private equity, asset management and principal investments including real estate.

With a regional focus we provide a wide range of investment advisory and investment fund management services to a substantial client base that includes listed and unlisted companies, financial and government institutions as well as high net worth individuals.   Over the last 15 years we have been successful in positioning ourselves amongst the region’s most trusted and reputed financial institutions. 

Duties:

• Together with the supervisor, establishes a streamlined buy-side research process as the driving engine of the investment process.

• Conducts discounted cash flow, dividend discount, residual income and comparative valuation for MENA companies. In addition to such bottom-up models, develops macroeconomic and sector-level databases.

• Tenders regular recommendations on MENA-listed companies, updates all recommendations on a quarterly basis and organizes regular meetings with company management.

• Maintains relationships with sell-side analysts.

• Assists in other department efforts as and when required.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have knowledge of financial analysis, corporate finance, capital budgeting and security valuation.

• Proficiency with Bloomberg/Reuters or both as well as with MS Office applications.

• Must possess excellent communication skills in English

• A post graduate degree in Accounting/Finance will be preferred with 3-4 years experience in equity research analysis.
