Our client is a leading mid market investor which has the ability to make buyout, debt, debt-equity and all-equity investments. This flexibility allows it the chance to take advantage of a range of opportunities irrespective of market conditions and circumstances. The fund is also in the process of raising a new fund, and has substantial equity to invest. From Frankfurt the focus is primarily on the German speaking countries, although they will also consider some investments from neighbouring countries.

With the success of their new fundraising, our client is keen to add another analyst to their team. You’ll gain exposure to all elements of the process, working directly with the investment managers running the transactions. Your primary responsibilities will lie with the financial modelling and the preparation of all presentations, as well as market and industry analysis. It is important that you have strong technical skills and can quickly and accurately build basic LBO models. You must also have a passion for modelling, as this is a heavy element of the role. You will though be involved in a wider manner, and the senior team will endeavour to bring you to meetings so you see more of the investment process and can grow within your role as an analyst.

You’ll need to show:

• Investment banking analyst from leading international firm
• Strong technical skills, especially the ability to quickly build LBO models
