Access Capital Advisers is the largest independently owned asset consultant and investment adviser in Australia.  Since 1996 our firm has grown to manage funds of over $11 billion and is continuing to grow, including during the recent financial and economic downturn. We are a global firm of over 80 staff, with offices in Australia, the US and UK.

As part of our Australasian Infrastructure Group, this principal investment role will provide you with the opportunity to work on the acquisition and management of large infrastructure investments.

This role requires a candidate with experience in a corporate finance discipline and would suit a candidate with 2 to 3 years experience who is looking for a move to principal investing. An individual with experience working for an alternative asset manager, an investment bank, strategy consultant or a fund manager would be highly desirable.

We offer a professional, supportive team environment, together with an attractive remuneration package.

To be considered for this position you will need to possess:

  • 2+ years experience in investment banking, strategy consulting or a corporate finance / M&A related discipline (including valuation of unlisted assets).
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced organisational skills, including managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
