On an everyday basis, candidate will be analyzing investments for inclusion in the portfolio, assisting with valuation, working with a team of analysts and conducting meetings with managements of potential investments.

On an everyday basis, candidate will be analyzing investments for inclusion in the portfolio, assisting with valuation, working with a team of analysts and conducting meetings with managements of potential investments.

 - Developing Deal Models (cash flow modeling; returns analysis) and comps
 - Drafting commitment committee memos, deal and industry overviews
 - Due Diligence assistance
 - Deal documentation assistance
 - Ongoing monitoring of portfolio investments
 

Education/Previous Experience

Ideal candidates will come from a Financial Institutions coverage/execution background and will bring a deep understanding of product, M&A and capital raising issues. On an everyday basis, candidate will be analyzing investments for inclusion in the portfolio, assisting with valuation, working with a team of analysts and conducting meetings with managements of potential investments.

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience (i.e. current 2nd or 3rd year IBD analyst, pre MBA)
  • Must have direct experience in the Financial Institutions sector (preferably depository or specialty finance industry coverage)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Outstanding organization, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Well-organized in thought and action
  • Team player
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing at a high level on a professional basis
