This employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, asset management and private equity firm with client assets of more than $73 billion requires a financial reporting manager for its private equity arm. You will be in a team of four and report directly to the European finance director. You will be involved in a wide range of activities and your responsibilities will include:
Financial reporting, overseeing the audits of funds and the party fund administrator, coordinating the production of and reviewing fund performance metrics, GP and LP financial reporting, tax reporting
Attending investment committee meetings and participating in valuation committee meetings
Working with the deal teams to review investment write ups and valuations and ensuring these are provided on a timely basis
Coordinating the distribution of carried interest and levying of management fees
Coordinating and reviewing calls from investors and distribution to investors
This is an established business and there is scope for considerable development. You will need the following skills and experience:
Candidates must be qualified accountants (or equivalent)
Candidates must have either; Private Equity financial control/fund accounting experience, or have audited Private Equity funds
Detailed knowledge of fund / partnership accounting concepts, accounts preparation and audit
Strong written and oral communication skills
Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment
Experience of supervising staff, being responsible for all aspects of their management and appraisal
Base salary is c£65-£80k with c. 20%-30% bonus, 25 days holiday and 7.5% pension.
