Global Investment Bank is looking to expand their Valuation Review Group within the Finance Division.
On a daily basis this person will be responsible for the mark review for assigned Investments, verifying the marks in accordance with established procedures and identify potential discrepancies or risks; Assist in the reporting and communication of mark review results to various constituents; Document present valuation methodology and implementation procedures; Evaluate present procedures for compliance with established firm policy and regulatory requirements; Assist in developing new and revise existing valuation methodologies and procedures as necessary.
The successful candidate will have a BS/BA in Finance, Economics or Accounting, MBA, Ms or CFA would be a plus. 3-5 years of business valuation/private equity valuation experience; Excellent technical skills, including a comprehensive understanding of valuation concepts/techniques and solid modeling skills (Excel); Proficiency in Word and Power Point; Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral; Well organized and detailed oriented; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines; Ability to work effectively as a member of a team or independently.
