SunTrust Bank is currently seeking a Treasury Market Risk Officer in our Atlanta, GA office.
This position will assist in the independent oversight of activities being carried out within the Treasury Group with a focus on Funding and Liquidity. Responsibilities would include independent evaluations and reviews of Liquidity Management initiatives at both the Bank and Parent Company levels, Structural Interest Rate Risk management, Investment Portfolio management/objectives, Securitization activities as well as Capital Management.
Requirements: ? In-depth understanding of Liquidity requirements & Funding Management practices from an operating and regulatory perspective ? Experience with base case Funding Plan development (Sources/Uses), Contingency Funding scenarios as well as stress testing ? Working knowledge of Asset Liability Management concepts and measurement processes (Duration, Net Interest Income simulation, Convexity, Indeterminate Maturity Deposits) ? Working Knowledge of various Financial Concepts (Economic Capital, Regulatory Capital, RAROC, Economic/Market Value of Equity (EVE), Hurdle Rate, NPV) ? Graduate Degree in a financially-related or quantitative field
